      Hi @ramblergambler,

If the software is taking you through to the wrong game, then I wouldn't bet on this, you should only bet on the selection the software states. You can try to manually find that selection on the bookmaker

I will ask tech to look into why it's picked up the wrong game here and get this fixed.

The problem was with 'Asteras' in both names, this has been fixed so it won't pick up two Asteras as the same game moving forward. Thank you for reporting

@Inspo Sorry I'll clarify, I didn't make the bet after realising it was a different game. I made the bet quickly before realising, because of course the odds very quickly move against you, and then I realised afterwards that the edge finder listing was inaccurate.

Given how quickly odds move ideally edge finder listings would be accurate generally. That way we avoid the problem of having to double check every detail of a listing before placing the bet (time/day/match, all things the edge finder has got wrong in the past) and then losing the opportunity by the time we've double checked because the odds moved.

Of course, I don't know the quality of the data the tech team is dealing with and I can empathise as I have been a software engineer and data scientist in the past. But could a more general fix be deployed rather than patching things up for a particular team/game (unless you've already done this and I misinterpreted what you said)? Presumably, matching the date and time should be doable. The team names and league I can see are trickier, but considering two games to be the same based on one word maybe suggests the matching criteria is a bit too permissive.

If it cannot be improved, perhaps a matching criteria confidence rating could be shown, or some kind of warning if the date/time/game/league is only a partial match e.g. "Warning, double check before placing bet".

The listings are generally accurate, but we’ve had a small handful slip through since launch. The game names in the software are always correct though, so cross-referencing will consistently work (I appreciate that’s difficult under time pressure).

As you mentioned, this data isn’t well organised anywhere online, and some of these games are obscure, so we’ve had to map them ourselves. That creates a trade-off: we can either be overly restrictive and cut out value bets, or allow the occasional mapping error, which we continuously work to reduce.

Given we’re already very close to a 0% error rate, the fact that the true +EV selections are still shown on the software, and that an extremely rare -EV bet doesn’t materially affect a still very profitable strategy, this is the approach we’ve chosen.

I quite often don't get a warning sound that a value bet has appeared. Unless I actually sit in front of the edge screen I miss a lot of trades.

@administrators Barcelona Women v Atletico Madrid Women is showing on the finder for BetMGM / DoubleBubbleBingo but the odds are actually for an E-Sports match between Barcelona (SuperMario) and Real Madrid (Voron)

Midnite trades coming in don't appear at the bookie, don't know if this is the software feed issue or an issue with midnite.

When I click on the link to place the trade it takes me to the main football page.
